Default Conservative Tax Plans

Yesterday we heard the announcement that the Conservatives would give £2,500 to businesses that employee the unemployed during the recession. Paid for by what would have been spent on unemployment benefits.

Do you think this is a good idea to stimulate the economy? Should we have further tax cuts, if so, where?
