I think so. She was certainly polarising and strong enough. When people list Prime Ministers of the UK her and Churchill are probably the two most iconic - certainly of the 20th century.
She most certainly should. This woman was one of the most iconic presences of Bristish politics during the twenth century. She was not a looker, but she sure did know how to bang around in the great game and get things done.
I also agree that Thatcher should be given a state funeral. She was a great Prime Minister, tory or no tory. Besides reviving the fortune of the Tories, she also make UK great again.
I believe Thatcher should get a state funeral due to her great presences in what the UK is today. She was a woman that will not be forgotten and deserves the recognition of a state funeral.
I agree with the masses, there is no reason why she should not be bestowed with this kind of honor.
Every reason why not - it would be an apaling precedent. In the fulness of time NuLab (if it still exists) would demand state funerals for Tone and El Gordo.
My admiration for Lady Thatcher is boundless. But no, no State Funeral.
